UTANGULIZI
Ngoswe-penzi Kitvu cha Uzembe  inaonyesha namna jamii inapaswa kushiriki mipango mbalimbali ikiwepo ya kisiasa kiuchumi na kiutamaduni.Mafanikio ya mipango hiyo inategemea na kujulikana kwa idadi ya watu utayari,uelewa wa watu hao kuhusu mipango husika
Tamthiliya hii inaonyeshakazi ya kuhesabu watu ilivyokwama kijijini kwa mzee mitomingi ngengemkeni kutokana na uzembe wa afisa wa kuhesabu sensa Ngoswe.
DHAMIRA
  1.   MAPENZI
Mwandishi Edwin semzabaameonyesha jinsi mapenzi yalivyo kitovu cha uzembe,wahusika Ngoswe na Mazoea wametumiwa na mwandishi kufafanua dhamira hii
Ngoswe baada ya kufika kwa mzee Mitomingi anashindwa kuitawala nafsi yake mara anapomuona Mazoea,Ngoswe aliamua kuanzisha uhusiano wa kimapenzi na Mazoea hali iliyomfanya ashindwe kuimudu kazi yake na mapenzi kwa wakati mmoja.
Ngoswe anamtorosha Mazoea kitendo hiki kinamuudhi balozi Mitomingi Ngengemkeni (baba mzazi wa mazoea)na kuamua kuchoma moto karatasi muhimu za serikali.Ngoswe anaonekani ni mzembe kwa kuwa alishindwa kutofautisha kazi na mapenzi kama msomi (afisa wa sensa )alitakiwa ajue umuhimu wa kazi iliyompeleka kijijini.
  1.  ULEVI NA ADHARI ZAKE
Katika tamthiliya ya ngoswe penzi kitovu cha uzembe mwandishi  anaonyesha namna ulevi ulivyoleta madhara,mfano kuchelewesha kazi.Wahusika Mitomingi na Ngoswe wanashindwa kukamilisha kazi kwa vile wahusika (wahesabiwa)wapo kwenye Pombe kama maneno haya yanavyothibitisha;
Mitomingi:Haya ni matatizo yote hii shauri ya pombe nadhani yupo kilabuni
Ngoswe :hawezi kwenda kuitwa?
Mitomongi:haitosaidia mkewe tu hana habari ya kuhesabiwa sembuse hao wengine kwa leo haitowezekana
Licha ya kuchelewesha kazi ulevi huaribu kazi.Mfano:ngoswe anaunguza karatasi za sensa baada ya kulewa pombe ya mnazi.
  1.   ELIMU
Elimu ni chombo cha ukombozi kama itatumiwa vizuri ipaswavyo,mwandishi wa tamthiliya hii amemuonyesha kijana Ngoswe (msanii)alivyoshindwa kutumia elimu yake hususani katika kujua namna ambavyo  maisha ya mjini yanavyotofautiana na maisha ya kijijini,Ngoswe anajikuta akiharibu kazi yake kwa kukosa maarifa.
Mwandishi ameonyesha elimu katika familia ya mito mingi haikupewa thamani yoyote ile wananchi wengi hawakuwa na elimu kwa kisingizio cha shule kuwa mbali,ukosefu wa elimu ulichangia ukosekanaji wa huduma muhimu kama vile hospitali ,miundo mbinu na maji ili kupata maendeleo,suala la elimu lazima litiliwe maanani watu wakieleweshwa wataweza kujua wajibu wao :-

Mwandishi wa tamthiliya hii ameonyesha jinsi watu wengi ndani ya jamii walivyo na imani juu ya uchawi,wanajamii hawa wameweka vikwazo kuhusu sensa wakiamini kuwa mtu anayewahesabu wenzake ni mchawi
Mfano:mama anasema mchawi ndiyo huhesabu watoto wa wenzake ili awaroge sasa wewe ni mchawi?hata kama si mchawi siwezi kukubali unihesabu maana sijui nia yako kama ni mbaya au nzuri.Imani hizo ni za kishirikina zinachangia kukwama kwa zoezi la sensa pia maendeleo kwa ujumla kuwachini,watu wakiugua hawapelekwi hospitali badala yake wanapelekwa kwa mganga wa kienyeji wakidhani kuwa amerogwa.
  1. NAFASI YA MWANAMKE
  Katika tamthiliya hii mwanamke ametazamwa katika mitizamo tofauti kama ifuatavyo;
  Ø  Mwanamke amechorwa kama chombo cha starehe,mwandishiamemuonyesha mzee mitomingi kuwa na wake wengi (mitala)bila kuoyesha bayana kazi zao.
  Ø  Mwanamke amechorwa kama mtu asiye na sauti
mfano:Mazoea na mama yake hawakushirikishwa katikamipango ya kutaka kuolewa mazoea kwa vile walionekana hawana mchango wowote katika maamuzi hayo
  Ø  Mwanamke amechorwa kama mlezi,
katika tamthiliya hii inamchora mwanamke kama mtu mwenye majukumu ya malezi ya watoto,baada ya Mazoea kuwa na mahusiano na Ngoswe mzee Mitomingi anamlaumu mama yake Mazoea kuwa hakuona dalili ya mahusiano ya kimapenzi kwa kuwa ni jukumu la mama kumwangalia binti yake.
  1.  NDOA NA MALEZI
Mwandishi wa tamthiliya hii ameonyesha suala la ndoa ni sualala hiyari na si kufuata matakwa ya wazazi,Mazoea alichaguliwa mchumba na wazazi wake (baba yake)hali iliyomfanya kutoroka na ngoswe
Hali kadhalika katika tamthiliya hii wanaume wengi wana mke zaidi ya mmoja hali hii inapelekea familia kuwa kubwa na kushindwa kuzitunza.
Mfano:Mzee Mitomingi ana wake wawili ambao ni mama Mazoea na mama Mainda,wazazi hawa wanatofautiana katika malezi hasa kwa Mazoea hali iliyopelekea kuwa na tabia mbaya.
 Kwa upande mwingine ndoa zenye mke zaidi ya mmoja haziwi na upendo ndani ya familia hivyo kuwa kikwazo kwenye malezi.
7.UVIVU NA ATHARI ZAKE
Wanakijiji wa Ngengemkeni mitomingi wengi ni wavivu muda mwingi wanautumia kwenye ulevi na uvuvi,unawafanya wakose huduma muhimu kama shule,barabara na hospitali huduma hizi zingepatikana kama wananchi wenyewe wanajitolea.
Siku zote wavivu wanatafuta visingizio,vifo vingine vinatokea sababu ya uzembe na uvivu kisha sababu hutafutwa.
Mfano:wanawake wawili walidai mume wao amerogwa ili hali wenyewe hawakumpeleka hospitali

Ni hali ya kutoelewana baina ya pande mbili zenye mitazamo tofauti Katika tamthilia yaNgoswe penzi kitovu cha uzembe kuna migogoro mingi ambayo imeweza kujitokeza kama ilivyoonyeshwa na mwandishi
  Mgogoro kati ya Ngoswe na wazazi wa Mazoea chanzo cha  mgogoro huu umetokana na Ngoswe kumtorosha Mazoea,suluhisho wazazi kumfukuza Ngoswe na Mazoea kuchoma karatasi na kumwadhibu Mazoea
  •   Mgogoro kati ya Mazoea na wazazi wake,chanzo cha mgogoro huu ni baada ya Mazoea kutoroka na Ngoswe ili hali Mazoea tayari ana mchumba wake,suluhisho ni mitomingi kumchapa mazoea na kuchoma karatasi za sensa.

Ø  Sehemu ya pili inaonyesha kazi ya kuhesabu watu imeanza na watu hawana utayari na uelewa juu ya sensa (vijito)
