HII NDIYO ETIMOLOJIA YA NENO 'BALAGHAMU/BELGHAMU'
Neno *balaghamu/belghamu* katika lugha ya Kiswahili ni *nomino: [Ngeli: li-/ya-*] yenye maana ya kioevu kizito kilichochanganyika na utandoute kinachotolewa kwa wingi kwa njia ya kupumulia hususan mtu anapougua mafua au kikohozi, mate mazito yanayokuwa kooni ambayo hutoka mtu anapokohoa.
*Msemo:* *Toa balaghamu zako*: toa hasira zako.
Katika lugha ya Kiarabu, neno hili *balaghamu/belghamu* limechukuliwa kutoka neno la Kiarabu *'balghamu* *(soma: balghamun/balghaman/balghamin بلغم)** lenye maana ya mate yaliyochanganyika na kamasi na hutoka kwa njia ya upumuaji, dutu laini ya mate iliyochanganyika na kamasi; *kohozi*.
